Surfboards
At 10 Over Surf Shop, there are several different types of surfboards available to cater to the needs of surfers of all levels and preferences. Here are some of the most common types of surfboards you can find at the shop:
Shortboard: This is the most commonly used surfboard and is designed for experienced surfers. Shortboards are typically between 5’6” to 7’0” in length and are very maneuverable. They are great for performing quick turns and riding fast, steep waves.
Longboard: Longboards are typically longer than shortboards, ranging from 8’0” to 10’0”. They are great for beginners because they are more stable and easier to catch waves with. Longboards are also great for cruising and hanging ten.
Fish: Fish surfboards are typically wider and shorter than traditional shortboards, ranging from 5’6” to 6’6”. They are great for smaller, mushier waves and can be used by surfers of all levels.
Funboard: Funboards are a hybrid between a shortboard and a longboard. They are typically between 7’0” to 8’0” in length and are great for beginners who want to progress to a smaller board. Funboards are also great for experienced surfers who want a more versatile board.
Mini Malibu: Mini Malibus are a type of longboard that is shorter and more maneuverable. They are typically between 7’0” to 8’0” in length and are great for surfers who want a longboard that is easier to turn and more responsive.
Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP): SUPs are larger and more stable than traditional surfboards and are great for flat water paddling and catching small waves. They are typically between 9’0” to 12’0” in length and can be used by surfers of all levels.
