This Kailani bracelet is named after the Hawaiian word meaning the sea and the sky.
A solid 925 recycled sterling silver bracelet embellished with two sustainable cowrie shells. The shells have been repurposed from second-hand garments and homewares, giving them a new lease of life and not adding to the detrimental shell collection industry.
The bracelet fits most sizes because it is slightly flexible, which makes it easy to get on and you can also gently squeeze the band to get a slightly smaller fit if needed.
According to African legend, if you are attracted to cowrie shells you could be family to an Ocean Spirit. It also represents the Goddess of protection which is very powerful and connected with the strength of the ocean. Wearing a cowrie shell will connect the wearer to the ocean and this shell is known to represent wealth, good luck, and fertility!
The bracelets as a hammered effect to represent the ripples of the ocean. The bracelets come with a selection of engravings to choose from.
The jewellery comes in a cotton gift bag and is delivered in plastic-free packaging.
5% of profits support marine conservation charities, including a donation made to Surfers Against Sewage who campaign for plastic-free seas, and one coral fragment being replanted by Coralive.org for every purchase.
