What’s Really Going On - April ‘24 Edition
Wow where has April gone?! It’s been a mega-busy month here at 10 Over Surf Shop. Good Friday saw the opening of our new retail unit at Lanteague Studios located just outside Newquay and Perranporth.
The response has been incredible, everyone is loving the space. This might be down to the free table football, retro arcade machine and epic surf clothing and surf equipment - or the free coffee ;)
Behind the scenes, we’ve sent Longboarder Magazine Volume Two off to the printers - big shoutout to The Logical Choice, Temple Media and Sam Bleakley on another insane edition. We should get the magazine back end os April ready to ship early May. Thank you to everyone who’s pre-ordered.
To celebrate Volume Two we’re hosting a fun surf panel discussion and “unboxing” event on the 10th of May from 6 pm at the surf shop. Be one of the first to see the new Longboarder. There is loads more information on the Eventbrite website.
Talking of events, pencil in the 28th of June. We will host Oxbow and run a super fun film night with their international team riders at the surf shop. More on this soon, follow us on Instagram for updates.

Fresh In The Surf Shop In April
Loads of great products landed in 10 Over Surf Shop this month. Notable is the Rip Curl Spring/Summer women's surf clothing range, which has gone down a treat. We also received a solid selection of Veia Board Bags - some can hold 4 surfboards and one can hold up to 7 surfboards! Madness, but amazing at the same time.
We are now an official UK stockist of The Surfers Journal - an amazing publication from the USA. As a reader-supported surf publication, The Surfer’s Journal distinguishes itself as a truly distinctive periodical. It offers an independent perspective on the surfing experience, characterised by limited advertising, resulting in each 140-page issue being predominantly editorial. Team Rider Updates
Big up to team rider Willow Smith who came 3rd in the Under 16 girls at the English Nationals in some heavy conditions at Fistral Beach. Harvey Waters has been selected to represent Great Britain in 2024 - nice work Harvster!
Surf Skate team rider Josh made it to France earlier this month, scored some epic waves and found some empty roads to test drive his Carver Surf Skateboard.
The ISA World Longboard Championships start today - and we're stoked to be cheering on team rider Lola Bleakley! Pop into the shop to watch the live stream!
