Role Overview

We are seeking a Retail & Social Media Associate to join our team. This hybrid role combines traditional retail responsibilities with a strong focus on social media engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail and customer service, be familiar with Shopify and e-commerce, and be passionate about surfing, fashion, and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers with product selection and inquiries.
• Operate Shopify, managing in-store and online sales, inventory, and order processing.
• Maintain store presentation, ensuring a well-organized and visually appealing shopping environment.
• Stay informed about surf industry trends and fashion to provide expert advice.
• Drive the shop’s social media engagement across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, creating engaging content and interacting with the online community.
• Develop and schedule content, including photos, videos, and promotions, to enhance brand visibility.
• Support store events, promotions, and community engagement initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Experience with Shopify and e-commerce platforms.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Passion for surfing, fashion, and digital marketing.
• Ability to create engaging social media content and grow online engagement.
• Familiarity with social media trends and analytics.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Own car required due to the location at Lanteague Studios.
